Online Random Number Generator: Pick Numbers in Any Range

Sometimes you do not want a wheel, a die or a coin — you just want a number. The online random number generator hands you one or many random values in any range, ready to copy.
What the number generator does
Set a minimum and a maximum, choose how many numbers you want, and generate. You can allow repeats or keep every result unique, and you can sort the output ascending, descending or leave it as drawn. A single tap copies the results to your clipboard. It is free, runs in your browser, and needs no account.
If a spinning wheel suits the moment better, the random wheel does the same pick with more spectacle.
Setting the range
Type a minimum and maximum — for example 1 and 100 — or jump to a quick range like 1–10 or 1–1000. The generator accepts any integer range, positive or negative, so -10 to 10 works just as well as 1 to 100.
One number or many
- A single value for a quick decision or a door prize.
- Several unique numbers for a raffle where nobody should win twice.
- Several with repeats allowed for simulations and classroom trials.
When you turn off duplicates, the count is capped by the size of the range — you cannot draw more unique numbers than the range contains.
Is it truly random?
The values come from your browser's crypto.getRandomValues, the same cryptographically strong source the dice and coin use. Every number in range has an equal chance, which is exactly what you want for a fair draw or an honest classroom example.
When a number generator is the right tool
- Raffles and prize draws — pick unique winning tickets.
- Lottery-style picks — quick sets in a range.
- Classroom games — call a number, pick a student, choose a group.
- Splitting tasks — assign item N out of a list.
- Simulations — generate many values to model an outcome.
Tips for cleaner results
- Allow duplicates off for any draw where repeats would be a problem.
- Sort ascending when you need an ordered list to read aloud.
- Copy with one tap and paste straight into a chat or spreadsheet.
- Keep it private — numbers are generated and copied on your device only.
Want a die instead of a flat range? Roll a die for D4 through D100, or flip a coin for a clean two-way call.
