Random Activity Wheel: Something to Do Tonight

A free evening often ends the same way: you scroll, time passes, and nothing happens. The Activities preset loads a list of things to do into the wheel, so a blank hour gets a real answer instead of the default one.
What it is and how to use it
Activities is a built-in preset. Selecting it fills the wheel with activity options, each one a slice. Spin, and the wheel lands on one at random. It is free, works in the browser, and basic spinning needs no sign-up.
The preset is a starting list. Replace it with activities that fit your life โ a walk, a board game, a call to a friend, a chapter of a book. Add and remove entries until the list holds things you would actually do, then save it to a free account so it is ready next time.
The same preset also works as a chore wheel or a break wheel. Rename the entries and the mechanic fits a different problem without changing anything else.
When it is worth spinning
- A free evening or a rainy afternoon with nothing planned.
- Boredom in a group, where no one wants to suggest first.
- A study or work break that needs one short activity, not a whole plan.
- A family or classroom moment where the wheel chooses fairly for everyone.
Getting a better result
Mix effort levels: some quick, low-friction items and one or two that take longer, so the result stays realistic on a tired day. Keep the list to things you can start straight away โ anything that needs a booking will stall the momentum. A title like "Saturday, 7pm" sets the expectation before the spin, so the result lands as a plan rather than a suggestion. Elimination mode fits well here: spin once, do the activity, then spin again from what is left.
Set the speed, pick a sound or mute it, choose a theme, and give the wheel a title so the group knows the rules.
Do not let the evening decide itself. open the wheel, load Activities, and make the list yours.
